Kate T Lawler

Potential Achieved was established by Kate T Lawler, an experienced Senior Consultant, Coach, Project Manager and Business Change Consultant with over 20 years of international experience in both the public and private sector. Having led several high-profile projects in the US, including managing change through restructuring of an organisation of 2,000 employees, her areas of expertise include strategic business development, coaching and mentoring for executives, mediation, negotiation, conflict resolution and managing for effective performance. The corporate client list includes major public and semi-state organisations and large and small private companies, including both Irish and International banks. Kate is a member of the Institute of Directors and a Fellow of the Irish Institute of Training and Development (IITD).

Sean Cunningham

Experienced Civil Service manager with extensive experience of providing positive learning experiences as a trainer/facilitator; leading; adept at training, motivating and developing others. Widely experienced in teambuilding and coaching others.
Developed, designed and delivered a broad range of Training Programmes while serving in the Irish Civil Service for over 30 years. Worked in Staff Development areas and delivered/designed training interventions for more than 10 years. Particularly interested in novel approaches to areas such as emotional intelligence, group facilitation and teambuilding.
Co-ordinated comprehensive programme of Action Learning groups (called sets) for 10 years and delivered training in facilitation to other Departments and groups. Also served on the board of the International Foundation for Action Learning (IFAL) for more than 12 years including as Chairperson for more than 10 years.
Experienced interviewer with Public Appointment Service and other Government bodies. Has expertise in delivering a range of training programmes for One Learning (DEPR) to Civil Service managers up to senior management levels.
Experience in FE sector – designed and delivered Communications classes at QQI Level 5 over two academic years in Bray Institute for Further Education (BIFE) and tuition to adult learners hoping to build confidence in interviews.

Elaine Howley

An experienced advocate working with individuals and families in relation to EPA’s, family conflict, decision making, place of residence, treatment in hospital, finances, home care packages, fair deal applications. Additional advocacy experience dealing with community services, hospitals, nursing homes, solicitors and gerontologists alongside individuals and on their behalf.
A systemic psychotherapist, Elaine has worked with individuals, couples and families on a broad range of issues including anxiety; depression; suicide; bereavement, relationship difficulties; abuse related issues, addiction, disability and more.
Passionate about her commitment to improving the world for people with disabilities, her experience in this area extends from being a founder member of AHEAD (Association for Higher Education Access and Disability) to ultimately becoming CEO of NCBI (National Council for the Blind in Ireland) Services where her role encompassed operational, strategic and representational responsibilities. She worked collaboratively with other organisations, managing a team of 7 regional managers and 8 other senior staff.
